Internally,
the building has been modified considerably over the last
two years, and is now a fully accessible meeting space.
It houses the community resource library,
which contains a large number of books and other materials
that voluntary and community groups can use, meeting and
training rooms available for hire, and a range of useful
equipment that can also be hired.
Community Space also houses office accommodation,
not only for our staff and projects but also other voluntary
and community groups operating locally – NCH, Sounds
Good Project, Learning & Development Consortium and
the Healthy Living Worker for Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith.
Finally, Community Space is the space we
give to local voluntary and community groups to promote
themselves in our quarterly newsletter, CommuniCation.
