Small Group Project Administrator/Support Worker

Provides administrative and PA support to the Small Group Project. Responsible to the Development Officer of the SGP, the Support Worker helps identify and meet the needs of small voluntary and community groups in the High Peak, researches advice and information, produces publicity materials, assists in organising training events, keeps records of the use of services and resources of the project.


Job Title: Small Group Project Administrator / Support Worker

1. Purpose of the post:

To provide efficient and effective administrative and PA support to the Small Group Project at the High Peak CVS.

2. Responsible to - Development Officer for the Small Group Project

3. Duties:

a) Working with the Development Officer to identify and meet the needs of small voluntary and community groups in the High Peak.

b) Accompanying the Development Officer on occasions to provide support when working with groups.

c) Researching appropriate sources of information and advice to assist the Development Officer.

d) Working with the Development Officer to produce information, newsletters, and publicity materials.

e) Typing, minute taking, photocopying and filing, including developing appropriate systems to readily access information and regular mailings to groups.

f) Helping to organise training events and assisting with other special projects.

g) Booking venues and ensuring access requirements are met.

h) Keeping accurate records of the use of the services and resources of the Project.

i) Working with other staff members of CVS in the maintenance of accurate and appropriate databases

j) In consultation with the Development Officer, developing and maintaining monitoring and recording systems.
