Chief Executive Officer - Kevin Skingsley
As the most senior post in High Peak CVS, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the work of all staff and volunteers.
The main responsibilities are:

    Office & Finance Manager - Gina Spencer
    The Office & Finance Manager undertakes effective office administrative procedures to support the work of the CVS.
    Main responsibilities:
  • All aspects of financial management
  • Carrying out tasks to ensure legal compliance
  • Health & Safety Representative
  • Buildings and Office Management
  • PA to Chief Executive Officer
  • Personnel queries
  • Manages Office Volunteers
  • Offer relevant office based and practical services

    Development Worker - Sustain Project
    Esther Jones
    It is the responsibility of the Development Workers to identify gaps in local provision and work with voluntary and community groups to develop solutions.

    To enhance the effectiveness of new and existing groups by providing relevant information, training and support.

    To coordinate capacity-building and joint-working activities.

    Services Programme Manager
    Tony Okotie
    Assists in the development and implementation of the CVS publicity & marketing strategy.
  • Develops and maintains a library of information relevant to the effective working of voluntary and community groups.
  • Coordinates the CVS information and advice services.
  • Contributes to the preparation and production of the CVS newsletter/ mailings/website.
  • Assesses and contributes to the information needs of the voluntary sector.
  • Designs, organises and assists in delivering accessible training.

    Training Administrator - Nicola Dinsdale
    The Training Administrator provides administrative support for the training projects run by High Peak CVS
  • Assists in the design of training courses relevant to the voluntary and community sector.
  • Organises training venues, transport, logistics, refreshments and accommodation.
  • Handles the administration for High Peak CVS training courses, including letters of confirmation to delegates and certificates of attendance.
  • Monitors and reports on activities, performance, training budgets etc, liaising with the Information Officer and Finance Manager.

    ICT Development Worker - Jim Owen
  • Works with voluntary and community sector organisations in Derbyshire, to identify their ICT needs and to help them develop, formulate and implement strategy and action plans to make more effective use of IT in delivery of their mission.

    Prohelp Co-ordinator - Christine Mellor
    The Prohelp Co-ordinator recruits new member firms to Prohelp, assesses and allocates applications for Prohelp support, and promotes the local Prohelp scheme.
  • To provide support to community groups making applications and member firms taking projects on.
  • To assess applications for Prohelp support and allocate successful requests to member firms.
  • To recruit new member firms to Prohelp, in conjunction with the BITC local Area Manager and the national Business in the Community Account Management Team.

    Small Group Project Co-ordinator
    Sandy Schofield
    Sandy offers support to small voluntary and community groups - particularly those that are marginalised, disadv-antaged or rurally isolated. She can visit groups anywhere in the High Peak. Help can include advice on structures of groups, roles and responsibilities of management committee members,
    funding, running meetings, charitable status and training.
    The project also has resources to loan free of charge to groups such as a digital camera, display boards, gazebo, marker board, reference books and various publications. Sandy also runs training courses to help groups meet identified needs.

    SGP Admin Worker

    Small Group Project Administrator/Support Worker
    Ingrid Chambers

    Provides administrative and PA support to the Small Group Project. Responsible to the Development Officer of the SGP, the Support Worker helps identify and meet the needs of small voluntary and community groups in the High Peak, researches advice and information, produces publicity materials, assists in organising training events, keeps records of the use of services and resources of the project.
